Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how TextRhino collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, dashboard, browser extension, templates, support, and related services.

The Services are operated by AgentGYM Inc., United States, doing business as TextRhino. References to "TextRhino," "we," "us," and "our" mean AgentGYM Inc.

If you do not agree with this policy, do not use TextRhino. For questions, contact founder@textrhino.com.

2. Information You Provide

We may collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account information, such as name, email address, password, and authentication details.
• Workspace content, such as snippets, folders, shortcuts, labels, templates, command settings, and form field definitions.
• Support and communication content, such as messages, feedback, attachments, and contact preferences.

TextRhino should not be used to store highly sensitive regulated data unless we separately agree in writing that the service is appropriate for that use.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you use TextRhino, we may collect technical and usage information, including:

• Device, browser, operating system, IP address, approximate location, and log data.
• Service events, such as account status, sync status, authentication activity, errors, security events, and operational logs.
• Extension status data, such as whether the extension is reachable and when it last synced.

TextRhino does not use PostHog or Sentry in production at this time.

4. Browser Extension Data

The TextRhino extension may read typed shortcut text in supported fields so it can detect snippet triggers and insert your saved content. The extension may keep a short local typing buffer for shortcut detection.

TextRhino does not sell extension typing data. Text entered into snippet form fields during local expansion is used to generate the requested snippet output and is not used for advertising.

Snippets are saved in Google Cloud™ and may also be stored locally by the extension so snippets can be available while you work.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, sync, secure, maintain, and improve TextRhino.
• Create and manage accounts, workspaces, snippets, folders, and templates.
• Authenticate users and connect the dashboard with the browser extension.
• Provide support, respond to requests, and send service messages.
• Troubleshoot errors, protect accounts, and improve performance.
• Send marketing emails if you opt in or where otherwise permitted by law.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, product diagnostics, fraud prevention, and service operation. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some features may stop working.

7. Sharing Information

We may share information with:

• Google Cloud™, which provides cloud infrastructure where snippets and related service data may be stored.
• Firebase™, which provides authentication and related account services.
• Vercel, which provides website and application hosting.
• Email service providers if we send account, support, transactional, or marketing emails.
• Workspace members or collaborators when you share snippets, folders, or team resources.
• Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, accountants, and insurers.
• Authorities or third parties when required by law, legal process, safety, fraud prevention, or rights enforcement.
• Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.

Account deletion is supported through a dedicated account deletion request or deletion button in the product. After you request deletion, account data and snippets will be deleted within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Account export is not supported at this time.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

TextRhino uses Firebase™ for authentication and Google Cloud™ for cloud infrastructure and snippet storage.

11. International Transfers

TextRhino may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Add specific transfer mechanisms if serving users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

13. Children

TextRhino is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If applicable law requires consent from a parent, guardian, employer, school, or other authorized party, the user is responsible for obtaining that consent before using the Services.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
